How to know the Correct cause of your problems in Hinduism
This is with reference to and continuation of my earlier blog on Moksha Narayana Bali pooja..
Many people who stumbled across my blog have expressed their interest that they want to perform this pooja at Gokarna or Triyambakeshwar as they feel that this might give some remedy to their problems. They all have not taken any opinion from any astrologers nor were they asked to do this pooja by any astrologer.
Now the important analysis by me:
People who follow Hinduism are mainly affected by four types of powers(be it positive or negative)
1. Personal Horoscope(astrology).
2. Vastu of the house they live.
3. Pitru Dosha(curse from fore fathers)
4. Evil Eye/Drishti/Black Magic.
Every person who is going through a difficult phase has to understand that they are by and large being affected by one or more of the above powers.
So before coming to conclusions in haste one has to analyze their situation and relate it to the appropriate power that is influencing them.
1. Personal Horoscope
Generally personal horoscope influences a single person more, rather than a whole family. If you alone are suffering then it might be your personal horo and you need to do some remedial measures with regards to nine planets to get some ease.
2. Vastu
Vastu influences only those people who are residing in one house whether rented or owned.
If only people/family living in one particular house are going through tough times then it could be a house with Vastu defects.

3. Pitru Dosha
If only brothers and sisters of a family line are in struggled life, then it most probably could be pitru dosha.
People who have pitru dosha in horoscope will be affected more than the other brothers and sisters.

4. Evil eye/Black Magic
I really am not sure if there are people with such enormous mental power and stability to do black magic stuff in these modern days but evil eye/Drishti can affect many people especially sensitive people in particular. There are number of small home remedies done in every home for evil eye. Also there are numerous remedies listed in many web sites. Google will help you out.
Based on the above analysis one person may be suffering because of one or more of the above powers influencing negatively.
Identifying which power is influencing you is really a tough job. This is where you have to rely on god to show you a path which will direct you towards resolving your problems.
and by relying on god i mean undoubted faith in god. Pray to god like every minute and every second with absolute dedication. It might take you few days/weeks or even months but don't loose hope and keep your faith. he will send you to right people for advice and also show you a permanent solution through somebody or something.

I am unable to post my comments in narayana bali puja section, so i am posting it here, it will be very great helpful to me if you suggest an idea on the below query.
My brother was died in 1996 by abnormal death (suicide),and he was died on inauspicious thithi Ashtami , on that time we dont know about this puja. Now i heard about this from some known person to me. I want to know whether can we do this pooja now (as its almost 20 years over)or any other pooja related to this?? Please suggest us.
Dear Sir Bhanu Ji,
This pooja can be done at any time regardless of the date of death.
But it is better to consult an astrologer for opinion on pitru dosha in your or your family members horoscope, before doing the pooja as it involves lot of expenditure.

I have the same problem like Mr Bhanu Ji. In my case it was my brother born 1941 and died 1946. Dont know what rituals where performed, but most of the male's in the family incl their sons are struggling. I would like to perform the Narayan Bali Puja to make sure we are not affected by this. I was thinking of doing it in Bud Gaya UP. And I can't do it during Pitr Paksh in 2016. Can it be done at a later time/month? I read that it needs to be done on Suklha Paksh Ekadasi. Please advice what i should do. Thankin you in advance for your much appreciated advice.

Dear Lalo Ji,
There is no specific time as such for doing Narayana Bali pooja, it can be done on any day and any place where the pandiths are aware of the procedure of doing the pooja. It is usually done at the shore of a sea or a sacred river.
If you have pandiths in Budh Gaya who can get this done you can do it there.
Doing it in periods like pitru paksha is good but if you can't do it in that period there is absolutely no negative impact or less fruitfulness of the pooja.
Regarding doing the pooja as a step of prevention, it is a good thing but necessity of doing the pooja can only be commented by a good astrologer after checking your horoscope for the need of such pooja.

Thank you very much for your answer. There is one more detail I would like to have explained. You have mentioned as a part of preperations one must take a few things from home. Things that are needed fro the pooja. Any thing specific that cant be bought locally?

You have to take:
1. whole dry coconut after taking 3 pradakshina around your home with it in your hands. Pooja is done to this coconut.
2. New pair of Dhothis for pooja.
3. Problems you believe to be facing due to pithru dosha listed on a paper to tell the pandith there.
4. Names and Gothra of the person(s) on whose name the pooja is done. The pandiths generally ask the names and gothras of all the persons who had died in Husband's and Wife's Families in sankalpa Mantra. You can name a few whom you remember.
Rest all will be taken care of by pandiths there usually. However if you can talk to a pandith of Gokarna on phone before going, he will tell you in detail if any other stuff is required to be carried.
Sir, I live in apartment complex in 4th flr. should I hold the coconut and take pradakshina around the block at the ground floor ?
Take the coconut in hand and walk along the walls of each room like doing pradakshina of the room from inside. Di this in your flat only. Cover all the rooms except for bathrooms.

2) What timings? I mean is there any specific days?
